You Can Now Transfer Your Netflix Profile To A New Account

Image
Tired of people freeloading off of your Netflix account? Well, they can now take their profiles and transfer them to a new Netflix account with no hassle. The company is rolling out this new feature that will let people seamlessly move their profile to a new account. Let’s face it, is a push by Netflix to encourage people to buy their own Netflix plans. The company has been losing subscribers, and by extension, money over the past several months. One main cause of this dip in revenue is people crowding around one Netflix account. Profile sharing is a reality amongst all types of subscription services, and that can cause companies a lot of money. To put this into perspective, if just 0.45% of Netflix’s user base (based on the most recent number we have) mooches off of another account, that’s at least $10 million a month that the company is missing out on. So, Netflix wants to make it easy to transfer your profiles The company just posted a new blog post telling ...

The Samsung Galaxy S22 is up to $200 off Today!

Image
Amazon has now discounted the Samsung Galaxy S22 , knocking $60 off of its regular price. That brings it down to $739, that’s not quite an all-time low, but likely the lowest price we’ll see before Black Friday in November. The Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra are also on sale too. The Galaxy S22+ is down to $849 from $999. While the Galaxy S22 Ultra is down to $999 from $1,199. These are pretty good discounts for the Galaxy S22 lineup, and it’s unlikely that we’ll see them drop much more ahead of Black Friday next month. Now that Samsung has decided to stop releasing the Galaxy Note and cannibalizing its Galaxy S series, these prices have stayed a lot more steady over the year. The Galaxy S22 is likely going to be the smallest smartphone with flagship specs to come out in 2022. It sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz adaptive AMOLED display. That is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. There is also a 3700mAh capacity battery inside. Meanw...

These Are The Expected Galaxy S23 Specifications

Image
The Samsung Galaxy S23 is tipped to arrive in the first quarter of next year, and its expected specifications just appeared online. This information comes from Yogesh Brar, a tipster. He emphasizes these are ‘rumored’ specs, so it’s possible he didn’t get any new, credible information. Here are the expected Galaxy S23 specifications Do take this list with a grain of salt, as it’s possible it’s not entirely accurate. That being said, let’s see what the tipster shared via Twitter, shall we? The Galaxy S23 is expected to feature a 6.1-inch fullHD Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. So, basically the same display as its predecessor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel the phone, and hopefully in all markets. First, it was said that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel the phone in all markets, but recent reports suggest that Samsung is still thinking of utilizing its Exynos SoC in some markets. The Galaxy S22 uses an Exynos SoC only in ...

Peek Inside The Pixel 7 Thanks To This Teardown Video

Image
The Pixel 7 Pro teardown video appeared on the PBKreviews YouTube channel recently. That video revealed that not much has changed when it comes to the build of the Pixel 7 Pro. What about its siblings? Well, the Pixel 7 teardown video just appeared as well, so let’s see what’s up. The Pixel 7 teardown video reveals not much has changed since last year This video appeared on the same channel as the Pixel 7 Pro video. It has a duration of around 5 minutes, and in it, you can see the process of both the disassembly and assembly of the Pixel 7. Needless to say, this video can be useful if you tend to fix your phones on your own. If something needs to be changed on the inside once you’re out of warranty, or you simply need to change the back glass, this video can be helpful. For most people, though, it’s more about curiosity. You can see exactly how the phone is assembled, and what lies on the inside. The source also gave the phone a repairability score. The p...

Pixel 7 Mini Remains A Possibility, Not A Probability

Image
The Google Pixel 7 Mini arrival is still a possibility, but it probably won’t happen. Beat with us, there’s a lot to talk about here. The Pixel 7 series source codes appeared recently, and new info started flowing. A developer, Kuba Wojciechowski , has been digging around the code, and found some interesting information. The Pixel 7 Mini remains a possibility, but it probably won’t happen He first managed to find some display information pertaining to the Pixel Fold, Google’s upcoming foldable smartphone. Just to be clear, that name hasn’t been confirmed, nor has the device itself. Following that, the Pixel 7 Ultra was touted by the developer. Well, following that information, he shared some additional info on Twitter, suggesting that the ‘Ultra’ model may, in fact, be the ‘Mini’ variant. That would make more sense, as the Pixel 7 Pro is essentially an ‘Ultra’ phone. The thing is, there are two codenames that Kuba...

4K YouTube Videos Won't Be Tied To Premium Membership After All

Image
Earlier this month, it was discovered that YouTube is testing 4K video exclusivity for Premium subscribers. Well, it seems like the company opted against it, 4K YouTube videos won’t be tied to a Premium membership after all. 4K YouTube videos won’t require a Premium subscription after all, it seems One of YouTube’s official Twitter handles confirmed this. ‘ TeamYouTube ’ said, in a Tweet, that the company has “fully turned off the experiment”. It was also added that “viewers should now be able to access 4K quality resolutions without Premium membership”. Earlier, YouTube said that some of its users were a part of the test, which is meant to explore “the feature preferences of Premium & non-Premium viewers”. Those tweets are now deleted, though. Needless to say, when the initial information surfaced, people were quite upset. Many of them watch YouTube content in 4K without a Premium subscription, and with all the ad...

Kanye West Wants To Acquire Parler, A Social Media Network

Image
The American artist Kanye West (known as Ye) has  reportedly  decided to buy Parler, a social media platform known as the platform of conservatives. After the 2020 US presidential election and blocking Trump from Twitter, a new social platform called Parler made the headlines for its so-called free speech environment. The platform, launched in 2018, was later removed from the Google and Apple app stores. However, it could later  get back  to the  app  stores with some changes to its content moderation policies. Now, it might have a new owner. Kanye recently closed his Twitter and Instagram account over controversial antisemitic posts. He is now making an offer to buy Parler, and the deal is expected to close soon. The Parler parent company, Parlement Technologies, has confirmed that the transaction could be done in the fourth quarter of 2022. Kanye West buys Parler after he was banned from Twitter and Instagram Yet, the price is not announced, but it s...

Motorola's Rollable Phone Concept Takes The Vertical Approach

Image
Motorola seems to be working on a rollable smartphone as well. The company has decided to show off its work in progress. If you check out the GIF below, you’ll see Motorola’s rollable phone concept . Motorola’s rollable phone concept extends its display vertically, unlike others Unlike pretty much every concept we’ve seen thus far, this one does not roll out horizontally, but vertically. It makes the display taller when it rolls out. The concept OPPO announced a while back, for example, rolls out horizontally, providing us with a small tablet display, pretty much. The same goes for LG’s unreleased rollable smartphone . Now, if you check out the provided GIF, you’ll notice that the live wallpaper changes as the display extends. The same happens the other way around. That’s a nice touch. This is not the sharpest GIF out there, so we’re not sure if the display curves or not. There is some reflection, so it’s possible, though at ...

Pixel Ultra May Be In The Cards With A 1-Inch Camera Sensor

Image
Google may still be planning to release the Pixel Ultra handset, and according to some new info , the device may include a 1-inch camera sensor. That may seem hard to believe, but this is not just your regular rumor. The Pixel Ultra may be in the works with a 1-inch camera sensor The information regarding the Pixel Ultra was spotted by Kuba Wojciechowski , a well-known developer, yet again. He dug around the recently-released source code for the Pixel 7 series, and found something interesting. A device codenamed ‘Lynx’ was spotted, which is said to be the Pixel Ultra. He spotted it before as well, more on that later. That is pretty much everything he found, but another source got involved. Ice Universe , a well-known tipster, shared some info as well. He also said that Google seems to be working on the Pixel Ultra, and that the phone will feature a 1-inch camera sensor. The second part of the tipster’s tweet is a bit confusing, and doesn’t seem to be relate...
